Who are we and how do we fit in?

Newham Infant Feeding is part of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

Our vision is that everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected, and safe because we believe parents help build the foundations of the future.

Every year the NCT supports over 250,000 parents across the UK and Channel Islands on their unique journeys through pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, and early parenthood. And we are proud to have been commissioned by Newham Council to bring that trusted support to Newham.

Just as the NCT hosts thousands of community-based events across the UK. We in Newham offer community-based events around our borough. If you’re a new or expectant parent, chances are you’ve seen or joined a Bumps & Babies Group or visited a Baby Café to access infant feeding support hosted or supported by one of NCT's volunteers.

We support parents to make informed decisions that feel right for them. We provide access to evidence-based information through:

Community Centres and events,
over the phone,
and via the free NCT Infant Feeding Support Line 365-days a year 8am-midnight
